How does it work?
Diode lasers are the most effective of all laser wavelengths for hair removal. The lasers eliminate unwanted hair by emitting a beam of light on to skin. Passing harmlessly though the skin, the light targets the pigment within the hair follicle. As the follicles absorb this laser energy, they are disabled and unable to produce new hair.
Does it hurt?
Pain tolerance is an individual matter. 99% of our clients do not require using any topical anesthetic, ice packs or cold packs. The majority of our clients come to the spa during their lunch hour or coffee breaks and return to work immediately after their treatment.
How long does a laser treatment take?
While the laser is able to cover a relatively large area at a high speed, the exact treatment time is determined by the size of the area being treated. The upper lip and underarm take only a few minutes; the legs and back for instance,will take longer because of the size of the area.
Who can be treated?
People of all skin colors and most hair colors have been successfully treated. For best results, laser hair removal treatments are customized according to skin color, hair texture and body site.
